That is about 70 per person per year. The food industry is competitive with a hamburger, chicken, or pizza joint on just about every corner. However, A Billy’s hot dog franchise will stand out from the competition. Our menu has adult and kid versions of hot dogs made from healthy ingredients with something for everyone. It’s fast, easy and convenient.
• We offer the flexibility of 3 franchising opportunities from a full brick and mortar store, to a food truck or mobile cart to fit your budget and/or business goals. You can choose just one or combine several or all.
• While there are many attributes that are important for any successful business, we believe a love of hot dogs is pretty important for an impassioned franchisee operator of a Billys Gourmet Hot Dogs. . The desire to operate you own business and be your own boss is key. Relevant business experience and/or experience in the food industry is also very helpful.
-What is the initial franchise fee?
• $30,000 for a store, $15,000 for a food truck, and $5,000 for a cart. In exchange for these fees you’re getting an experienced partner committed to your success.
-What is the royalty fee?
• 5% of gross revenues, although we don’t start assessing this fee until after you’ve been in operation for 90 days.

• Running a successful business requires appropriate capital and resources. We believe you should have an approximate net worth of $500k for a Store, $100k for a Food truck, and $20k for a hot dog cart.
EEach situation may vary depending on the market and size of your store or truck. Generally we suggest liquid capital based on our franchise opportunity of:
• For a store: $188,950 – $349,500
• For a food truck: $98,400 – $132,700

• We have a recommended list of equipment and supplies that should be used inside each store, food truck, or cart. They can be purchased from a variety of sources; you are not required to purchase them through us.
• For a store, it depends on the location: a restaurant-ready space should take about 4-6 months, an empty (grey-shell) location can take 9 months or longer. Typically a food truck will require about 2 months to source and fabricate to meet your market’s regulations including health and fire codes. Each truck and Cart must be assembled to meet your specific local codes.
